On the last day you can have the $10 a day service charge taken off or amended. All drinks have 15% service charge added for your convenience. a g.& t. is $5.50, draught beer the same and a helmit of 6 bottles of beer is $25.88 ( pay for 5, 6th free)If you have been with Cunard etc you might not like this company, but I liked the freestyle option, but N C L must do something about the entertainment that is american based, Second City Comedy show was rubbish .

As of this year NCL implemented a Non Removable Service Charge. They no longer call it a 'Tip'. The only get out clause in their T's & C's is, In the event of a dispute regarding service received, the service charge may be reduced or removed at their discretion. So if you don't want to pay it, don't book NCL.

Hi, all bar prices carry a 15% service charge - I am sure that some passengers who were unhappy with this were able to get this removed from their on-board account by speaking to the Purser/Reception staff. Regarding the $10 per day, this is automatically added to your on-board account on a daily basis - I am not sure whether you can opt out of this.

Having just returned from a cruise on the Jade a large number of people disagreed with the 10% service charge and so on the day before we returned we queued along with many others and had it removed they ask for a reason and you have to sign a paper we had noisy children jumping up and down at 5.30 am and at times 11.30 pm they were unable to help us and didnt really care.
