You can smoke in the casino and in one other bar on the Oceans also you can smoke in your cabin and some areas on deck have designated smoking areas as does the poolside. Have a nice holiday.

We have just returned from another fabulous cruise with Ocean Village 2; this ship allows smoking in only one bar (Casino/players). Smoking is allowed in all cabins, deck 7 starboard and deck 10 stern. All other bars, restaurants and other areas on the ship are smoke free. Ocean Village cruises are very informal with buffet dining, so are not to everyone's taste. My advice would be, when you have decided which cruise line you wish to travel with, to ring them direct to enquire about their smoking policy. This may take them a little while to answer as the policies seem to be updated regularly, at least on British registered ships like Ocean Village. Hope this helps.

Just come back off Island Escape, and there were smoking sections in most, if not all bars and lounges. If you think of going with them, just look at the recent reviews first (cruise from Hell springs to mind).

Just returned from a cruise on the Costa Concordia. I am not a smoker but did notice people smoking practically everwhere on the ship. All the bars were full of people smoking. I noticed only on a couple of tables "No Smoking" signs. Definately a smoking ship.

Hi, Celebrity allow smoking in some bars albeit off to one side, also on pool deck and on aft deck with a special cigar area after 8pm. Not keen on you smoking in cabins although there is no actual policy against it. Non-smokers seemed fine with the set aside areas being there as most were open air sites.
