Stugeron available from the chemist. Been highly recommended by seasoned cruisers as well as my GP. Will be trying it when we go on our first cruise in July!
The ships have fantastic stabilizers nowadays but you cant beat nature. If it is choppy, try and find somewhere mid ship, lower deck to sit. We cruise with our two teenage sons (15 and 16) and find STUGERON tablets are fantastic (available over the counter at Chemists). If the worst comes to the worst, you can visit the Medical Centre and have an anti-sea sickness injection, they can be costly but have an immediate effect. Our sons were only 8 and 9 when we went on our first cruise, we have sailed through calm and rough seas and none of us would change our yearly cruise for a land holiday.
Myself and my husband are lucky we do not suffer from sea sickmess, so far, when we cruise. Most people semm to wear wrist bands or a patch behind the ear. The remendies from the ships shop worked well for people we were with on our new year cruise. Hope this will be helpful.
