No travel irons allowed. Big enough debate going on in the cruise news section at the moment on smoking on ships being a fire hazard. Suitcases are scanned when on board and held back. You get a slap on the wrist if they find an iron in your case.

I have a great life . on a 35 day cruise I am sure that it will be necessary to press some of the clothes at least once so as not to look like nobody owns me. does anybody own up to owning you?

No, I'm my own person, and relative to the cost of my cruise, I prefer to pay for my clothes laundering rather than waste any of my precious holiday in domestic drudgery. That's one of the things I'm on holiday from!
