Yes, there is internet access in various 'hot spots' Costs are on RCIs website. Reports say that speed is very slow depending on satellite connections, so I personally would not bother and would go to an internet cafe ashore.

My blackberry works perfectly well on ship for receiving and sending emails. Ship internet can get costly if you just want to browse.
