Don't take your hair drier they won't let you use it, one should be provided. Most cameras have a duel voltage charging system built in, just check with the unit or the instructions. The "right pin plug" is more complex and it will depend which ship you are going on. I have a bag of assorted connectors and adaptors which I take everywhere and I have never been flummoxed yet, but check with the brochure or the web-site where that information should be given ... Hope that helps ...Nei.

Wrong Neil, My wife has always taken her hair drier, they do let you use your own along with heated brushes etc. Not all ships provide a hair drier. The only problem is that her drier is not as powerful on the ship due to the different voltage.

Sorry Matt...I should probably have been more specific. Most better ships do provide them and if they aren't in your cabin will often get one for you. Luggage space and weight are reducing frequently and when one is provided it will run efficiently on the ship's system and you can then pack that extra item. Again sorry for the non specificity....Nei.

Sorry Neil, my wife has asked me to tell you that on the ships that do provide hairdriers ie RCI, she won't use them cos "they nearly blow her head off" women heh.
