If you're not too late you must have the Sunday Buffet lunch on the old Queen Mary parked at Long Beach. You need to book. Take public transport as the champagne flows continuusly! The newish overground Metro is great from central LA.

We did a cruise at Chrismtas from Tahiti to Hawaii, and then on to Mexico. Unfortunately, the Mexican children ran riot causing disturbances, destroying the library, knocking old ladies over, pushing into lifts, shouting and throwing things in the dining rooms. Parents were oblivious. they were typical 'rich' kids . . .. I do hope your experience will be better! If you can avoid Chrismtas next time, I should do so! Valerie Martin Arvel.

Just got back from Tenerife but here is view - try not to travel with Mexicans and their children - avoid Xmas. Avoid Acapulco(noisy, smelly, rip-off).Avoid Central America in general.Stick to middlesize ships(Serenade, Brilliance, etc).Avoid too many Brits always complaining and worrying that you may have better deal than them. Avoid 18-30 Carnival, Ocean Vill, etc.
