Princess terms clearly state cash, traveler’s cheques, or Credit Card as acceptable payment. No mention of Debit card, which is common throughout the cruise industry for very good reasons. I think you need to do some serious checking with Princess on 0845 3 555 800 before you travel.

Never heard of a Coffee Card & NO debit cards are accepted on princess & any other major cruise line. You need a Credit Card!!

Just back from the Sea princess and bought a coffee card for about 25$. It entitled you to any amount of brewed coffee (or tea) anywhere and up to 15 other coffees like latte, cappuccino, hot choc etc. Brewed coffee is free in the Horizon Court ,at dining rooms after meals and from Room service. If you want a coffee in any of the lounges e.g explorers it cost about 2$.
