I would like to agree with our Devon friend and say that we went in September and had the best whale watching trip of the season, according to the guide, out of Juneau. We saw loads of whales close up and in the distance. Also in Victoria we saw 84 Killer Whales passing by our small vessel, that was also thrilling, but their breath smells somewhat.....Nei.
We did an Alaska cruise with Regent Seven seas and saw plenty of whales...some from on board the ship but for the best whale watching and close up views do one of the whale watching excursions by small boat. It was totally magical--the first time a whale surfaces close to you and breathes, the hairs on the back of your neck will stand on end; well mine did!!!! Have a wonderful trip; Alaska is one of the truly memorable cruise destinations.
They are wild animals. No one can guarantee where they decide to be.
Hi Neil and Ida, nice to have you back with us!Where have you been cruising this time? Cynthia Sette.
Thanks for the greeting. Spent some time in the States and then came back TransAtlantic. My Aunt, Heather, took my duties for a while and dog sat for us
That wouldn't be Heather Bonnett by any chance? I thought it odd that you vanished and Heather appeared replying to questions in the smae manner as you.
