World voyages are divided into sectors.you can join part of a world cruise by flying out from the UK to a destination on the itinerary and flying back from another country to the UK.eg Sydney to Hong Kong, Hong Kong to San Francisco etc.

Hi world cuises on p and o are divided into sectors, ie southampton to san fran, san fran to sydney, sydney to mubai as examples they are ports where passengers join and disembarkl not herar of liner voyage.
