Here here!!I couldnt agree more! But be aware that some of the skinflints will comment on your message in a very uncivil way.....calling you a" rich snob "will probably be the least insulting comment(at least that is what they did to me when I dared to voice similar views).

I totally agree! Why bother going on cruise an at all. £100 per day for 5 stars, what do people want? I have had the pleasure of cruising many times, and if possible we avoid cruising on British ships (if there is such a thing) why? Because everyone (the British) complains about every little thing, and when they get back they complain a bit more. The standard on ships is far better than hotels (of the same value) but if one thing is out of place, line up and complain. There is a place for standards, but there is a balance, and we British just don’t get it!

You're totally wrong - the british do not complain about everything, especially compared to other countries where it seems par for the course - in fact quite often we don't complain when we should. Yes some people moan about everything but don't tar everyone with the same brush - that's just ridiculous.
