There are presently 2 no. cruise ships in operation that are the largest, these are the Royal Caribbean; Freedom of the Seas and the Liberty of the Seas, both presently only do 7nt Caribbean sailings from Miami. However the UK should be proud to know that their 3rd sister ship; the 'Independance of the Seas will be sailing from Southampton, partaking various itineraries from the Summer of '08. All these ships are a gross tonnage of 160,000, carrying up to 3,600 guests, take a look at our website for some excellent offers on the 'Independance of the Seas'.

The QM2 is also considered the worlds largest ship. the RCI ships are the worlds longest while QM2 has the biggest on the width. This debate of worlds largest ship will alway continue as one cruiseline wants to beat the other while what customers really want is a small intimate ship where they can feel safe. Especially considering the average age of customers which is 70.

RCI are launching Independance in May 2008, I think this will then be the largest, as your travel agen.
