Have not done a Mexican cruise before, but have just booked a cruise only from LA doing mexican Riviera in April next year. Royal Caribbean, Mariner of the Seas. I am not sure whether or not the ship is mariner this Novemebr, so you would need to check that. I have been on Voyager, and Mariner is the same class, but younger , so a really good ship. All the reviews I have read have been excellent for the tour, and the ship.

Would not go on a cruise unless I had an outside cabin, I think they are really worth it, there is always so much to see without leaving your cabin .
