We were invited on the P&0 ship Oriana for a look over the ship and we had a dinner in the restaurant, it cost us £25.00 each. It is a way of promoting their ships. If we had booked a cruise on the Oriana within 3 months the £50. would have been deducted from a future cruise. Why don't you email P&0 or telephone to see if they have any such forthcoming offers.
Here's A couple of options that should get you there.
email....firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0845 3 555 800.
I do not know current practice but a few years ago we had an invitation to see and have lunch aboard a Princess ship. However we had previously sailed with Princess twice and about 10 times with P&O. So far as I know everyone at this event were already customers of P&O or Princess. I think we could have invited a maximum of two friends to join us.
If you are interested in touring a ship with the intent of taking a cruise, why don't you just contact all the major cruise lines which operate ships out of Southampton and ask them? It really is as simple as that! They will soon fill you in on how and when you may be able to do this. Just drop them an email! Failing that, why don't you book a 2 night "Weekender cruise" onboard the NCL Jade for under £100? Happy cruising.
I went on line to search this option and unless i was looking in the wrong area, could not find anything that left from southampton/portsmouth??? was a bit confused but very interested in trying a weekender cruise. kind regards.
Can family go down to the docks to see off people going on the cruise.
