Remeber that Jewel is an older ship so will not have flowrider, or iceskating rink or inline skating. Very port intensive cruise so not a lot of time spent on board.
Your kids will love Jewel of the Seas, water slide, adventure ocean, golf putting, basketball and even pool/billiards. Royal Caribbean has got to be the choice when you are taking kids, ours are 9 & 12 and have loved every cruise we have taken. Remember that Royal Caribbean and Celebrity are the same company with Celebrity rating 5 star and Royal Caribbean 4 star and look after familys better. Jewel is not very old - only about 4-5 years old.
Many thanks for this information. It has really whetted my appetite. Has anyone got any views on the Celebrity Constellation and its facilities for children.
We had exactly the same dilema. However, 12 nights on RCI worked out more than £500 more expensive than 14 nights with celebrity! Consequently have booked celebrity.
Celebrity have a very good children's club - probably more educational than RCL and probably a higher ratio of staff to children. For adults Constellation has yet again been voted one of the best cruise ships in the world by Conde Naste. For the third consecutive year, Celebrity Constellation earned the number one slot in the large ship group. Enough said.
