Take a travel kettle - we did, saves a lot of bother especially if you want to drink tea/coffee in your cabin any time day or night. Rough seas are not condusive to carrying cups of liquid from deck to cabin!

Yes there was tea making facilities when I went on Thomsons Destiny. Had tiny cabin shared with friend and we had kettle and cups etc the usual. Lovely in morning nice cup of tea or coffee. What does "this level of cruising" mean written by Richard Okill, so now cruising has "classes" how sad? cruising is fun its for everyone thats why there are many different types of accomodation/prices and yes when "slumming it in windowless cabin" you get lovely tea facilities and Richard should hang head in shame..

As you will see above, no tea and coffeemaking services avaiable but you can get room service, approx £1.50 plus a small tip, buffet a long way to go for your early tea, we found it a very good service, most ships do not do tea and coffee in staterooms now due to health and safet.
