We have been on the Emilio 3 times - it is a lovely cruise ship. As has been stated daywear is casual - however do bear in mind that this is a Muslim country overall and you should dress appropriately when you are visiting tombs/temples etc (also by wearing long sleved loose fitting clothing you will be less likely to suffer sunburn/heat stroke).
Also in March the evenings are still quite cool so take a pashmina/cardigan/light jacket - smart casual is usual but dress up if you wish to - many do .
No, but we are also booked to go in March 2008 and would be interested to know if you get any replie.
I haven't been on that particular ship but having been twice we found that the dress code was very casual during the day and smart casual in the evenings. One evening was devoted to dressing in the local costume and turned into a very good evening, our purchases being made ashore and by someone visiting the ship. Can't guarantee that on your ship though.....But go with the knowledge that you will want to go back because there is so much to see and find out about, you just can't take it all in in one trip.....Good Luck.....Ida.
We've just come back and the Domina Prestige was wonderful - spotlessly clean, friendly, helpful crew and (mostly) good food. People did tend to dress up a little more in the evening, especially the ladies, but there's absolutely no pressure. As for the overall holiday experience (expertly organised by Libra) it's much more than just a cruise. In fact if you take advantage of all the included and optional trips, you're on shore a lot of the time. I can't do better than quote a fellow passenger, "I'd give everything 10 out of 10, except the camel ride which was 15". One word of warning, almost all our group got 'Egyptian Quickstep' to some degree so DON'T FORGET THE IMMODIUM.
I have been on the Domina Prestige in 2006 and am going back again in May because I was so impressed. The boat interior, especially the reception area is beautiful, the staff are amazing, the rooms are comfortable and cleaned twice daily with two sets of clean towells every day (look out for the towell sculptures!) It definately deserves a 5 star ratin.
