If your embarkation port is Venice, it will be unlikely you would have had enough time to venture around the city, even with an early morning arrival. Having said that am I right in believing your ship departs 2pm the following day? If so, get up early and spend the morning in Venice. At least that's better than not at all. Have a good trip, anyways.

We are about to start a cruise on this ship next week round the med departing from Barcellona and the same thing has happened to us. We were looking forward to arriving by lunchtime & exploring in the afternoon. The flight has been put back & we will now not arrive before 5pm - 1/2 day holiday wasted before we have even begun!! The same on return, our return flight has been brought forward - but that's Ok as we will need to be 1st off the ship - so I guess you can't have it both ways!! P & M Bolton.
