No you don't have to attend the formal evening dinners. If you look at Cunard.com you will see that Pricesss Grill passengers have the alternative of eating in their own cabin from the Princess Grill menu. Many passenger attending the formal evenings do were formal dress and again you will find a full explanation of what to wear, on the Cunard web site.
