As you can see from the exchange rates below either US or AUS are acceptable (and NZ) Most small countries like to accept the strongest courency so check what the rates are on the internet as you go. The following should help: http://www.wordtravels.com/Travelguide/Countries/Fiji/Currency 1 US Dollar = 1.58880 Fiji Dollar 1 Fiji Dollar (FJD) = 0.62941 US Dollar (USD) 1 Australian Dollar = 1.37520 Fiji Dollar 1 Fiji Dollar (FJD) = 0.72717 Australian Dollar (AUD) 1 Australian Dollar = 6.60733 Solomon Islands Dollar 1 Solomon Islands Dollar (SBD) = 0.15135 Australian Dollar (AUD) 1 US Dollar = 7.63359 Solomon Islands Dollar 1 Solomon Islands Dollar (SBD) = 0.13100 US Dollar (USD) .

Read your brochure, as i beleive that sailing out of Aus ports are under the Princess Australia banner. There fore the on board currency is the Australian Dollar.
