Neil and Ida Down - Answered a Question by wootton (10 Aug 08 20:18)

I think the answer will be no and yes but let me qualify that. I have not used Rhapsody but have twice been on Legend, exactly the same design in the cabins immediately over the stern. We found no vibration there at all. We had no really heavy seas on either occasion but had some swell and the effect was negligible, I cannot say that heavy seas will have little impact and of course the extremities of any ship are the most effected. I must also tell you that that stretch of ocean is renown for big seas. You should have no problems changing cabins because these are some of the most sought after cabins on a ship and if it were me I wouldn't even think of moving. Hope that helps. ... Neil.

If the sea is rough you will feel it where ever you are on the ship. I'm with Neil and wild horses couldn't part me from my aft balcony. That is a rough bit of sea - look at what happened to P&O Pacific Sun a few weeks back...
